Under the general supervision of the site superintendent, the full time/seasonal laborer position will be responsible for the physical labor performed on the job site during the construction and installation of a synthetic turf sports field. Must be confident with hand and power tools, following blueprints and instructions for building and installing synthetic turf sports fields. Hard hat, safety vest and CSA certified work boots required on site.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the unloading and loading of materials and equipment.
• Moving materials to designated working areas.
• Removing debris and waste at construction sites.
• Ensuring all equipment is in operating condition before use.
• Leveling earth to fine grade specifications using rakes and shovels.
• Traffic monitoring.
• Performing other activities at the construction site, as directed by the Labour Foreman.
• Performing daily site maintenance tasks to ensure the site remains clean.

Qualifications for the position may include but are not limited to: 

• Experience in the landscaping/earthworks field is an asset. Any equivalent combination of education and experience in Farm Labour, Carpet Installation, Golf Course Maintenance, Construction, etc. will be considered. 
• Attendance Reliability and transportation.   We expect our team to be responsible for their positions and report for work as scheduled. 
• Strong work ethic. Able to perform at a quality level daily and consistently. 
• Ability to work in a team environment and establish effective working relationships with other employees. 
• Must be able to lift, pull, carry, and/or move a minimum of 65 pounds and work outdoors a minimum of 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift, kneel, bend, squat, and stoop daily for extended periods of time throughout the day.
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime when needed.
• Ability to work outdoors, and occasionally, in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time. 
• Must be able to follow English verbal and written instructions.

We are seeking self-motivated, hard-working equipment operators to join our full time/seasonal team. Among the requirements of the position is a Class “G” license in good standing with a clean abstract, and reliable transportation. Hard hat, safety vest and CSA certified work boots required on site.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring all equipment is in operating condition before use.
• Safely running various pieces of equipment (excavator, bulldozer, skid steer, loaders, rollers, forklift etc.) 
• Unloading and loading site materials and equipment.
• Completing earthworks to design specifications. 
• Follow blueprints and instructions for building and installing a synthetic turf sports field.
• Perform general labor as required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Understanding plan and procedures for the installation, service, or repair of synthetic turf products.
• Following directions to adhere to completing the project according to the customer schedule.
• Assisting in unloading and preparing materials at the beginning of the project.
• Ensuring compliance and adheres to required safety precautions.
• Attending weekly job site safety meeting.
• Assisting in the procurement of installation tools and materials to be delivered at specific times to conform to work schedules.
• Assisting in executing work procedures, following specifications, mandates and contributing to various phases of installations to prevent delays.
• Assisting to ensure all delivered materials meet specifications.
• Inspecting work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to Standard Operating Procedure and the adherence to construction schedules.
• Assist in cleanup and loading prior to final walk-throughs.
• Assist in ensuring synthetic turf installation is to customer satisfaction.

Our team is looking for a hard-working and motivated part-time administration to support general administration duties, under the supervision of our General Manager, to assist with the managing of projects. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Receive and process a large volume of daily invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify that transactions are in alignment with company procedures.
• Code invoices with the General Ledger account and post to Accounts Payable.
• Monitor invoices for proper approval. 
• Maintain vendor files, keeping unpaid and paid invoices filed on a regular basis.
• Prepare batches of invoices/receipts from credit card purchases for data entry.
• Scan, photocopy, file AP paperwork. 
• Check vendor statements to Accounts Payable ensuring that all invoices have been processed. 
• Maintain vendor files in alignment with company procedures.
• Provide professional and timely customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Communicate frequently with internal Managers to ensure accurate invoice reconciliation. 
• Coordinate and process invoice adjustments as required.
• Open mail and email daily, and match invoices to purchase orders.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Month-end reporting.
• Year-end reporting.
• Prepare documents and files for year-end storage retention.

Qualifications for this position may include but are not limited to: 

• Very proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Outlook.
• 1-2 years accounts payable experience (Ex. Sage 50 Accounting software). 
• Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, accounting, or related program.
• Proficient with accounting software and the ability to learn new systems. 
• Analytical and detail orientated. 
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. 
• Strong customer service skills. 
• Team orientated, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
